Our vision of the Back Alley Artists Night is an annual exhibition featuring the work of emerging visual artists, filmmakers, slam poets, performance art and musicians from the Lower Mainland and provides an opportunity for cross discipline networking while celebrating amazing artists.

Our programming begins with the CBC Studio 700 doors opening at 7pm, Saturday, July 8, 2017. Artists, community members and guests will be invited to grab a drink and mingle before the first act of short films and performances at 7:30pm. With alternating twenty-minute intermissions, a total of three acts each comprised of a short film, slam poetry and a musical performance will culminate in the presentation of two awards – The Back Alley Visual Artist Award and The Back Alley Performance Award – chosen by the audience. Throughout the evening, guests are encouraged to engage with the visual art gallery incorporated into the space.
